Many plans may provide additional coverage for prescription drugs, dental and vision.
Medicare Advantage Plans (also called Medicare Part C) are plans offered by private health insurance companies that provide the same coverage as Medicare Part A and Part B and may include additional benefits.
Medicare Advantage coverage begins with Original Medicare. You’ll receive coverage for hospital stays, skilled nursing care, home health care (like Part A), doctor visits, outpatient care, and preventative services (like Part B). Some MA plans will then offer additional benefits like hearing care, vision, dental, nurse helplines, and fitness programs.
*You must continue to pay your Medicare Part B premium. $0 premium plans may not be available in all areas.
